LETTER TO HON'BLE CHIEF COMMISSIONER :
Subject : Support extended to the agitation of the
Gazetted Executive Officers of the Department.
Respected Sir,
Keeping
in view the sentiments of the members of the All India Central Excise
Inspectors Association of Chandigarh Circle, it has been decided that the
members of the Association will be joining the agitation of the Gazetted
Executive Officers Association during lunch hours. This decision has been taken
in view of the fact that most of the demands of Inspectors Cadre and
Superintendent Cadre are analogous and complementary to each other and the root
cause of most of the problems faced by both the cadres is acute stagnation in
the cadre of Inspectors, and that the genuine demands of both these cadres are
not being redressed by the authorities.
However,
it is intimated that the support extended to the agitation will not in any way
adversely effect the working of the offices/department and the members have
been advised to strictly limit it to lunch hours only.
This
issues with the approval of the President.
