THE REPSONSE TO THE STRIKE CALL GIVEN BY OUR APEX BODIES FROM BOTH THE CADRES - INSPECTORS AND SUPERINTENDENTS HAVE BEEN OVERWHELMING.

THE RESOLUTIONS FROM DIFFERENT STATIONS ARE POURING IN, AND MORE ARE LIKELY TODAY.

THE JOINT RESOLUTIONS PASSED BY CHANDIGARH I AND CHANDIGARH II; THE RESOLUTION OF JAMMU AND KASHMIR OFFICERS ARE REPRODUCED BELOW FOR YOUR KIND INFORMATION.

THE OFFICERS AT OTHER STATIONS, ESPECIALLY HAVING DIVISION AND COMMON RANGE OFFICES ARE REQUESTED TO KINDLY PASS SUCH RESOUTIONS. THE COPIES OF THE SAME MAY BE SENT TO THE ZONAL BODIES AND VICE PRESIDENTS OF RESPECTIVE COMMISSIONERATES.

RESOLUTION

A JOINT Meeting of the All India Central Excise Gazetted Officers Association and the All India Central Excise Inspectors Association of Central Excise Commissionerates, Chandigarh-I and II was held on 25.03.2013 during lunch hours at the 6^th floor of the C.R. Building Chandigarh to discuss the Agitational Programme for the CADRE RESTRUCTURING; it was unanimously resolved that:-

1.    None of the officers from the cadres of Superintendents  and Inspectors will attend work at Head Quarter, Division and Range Offices on 29,30 & 31^st March, 2013.

2.    All the Officers from HQ and field formations will gather at Chandigarh HQ on all these 3 days and protest by holding peaceful demonstrations.

3.    To intensify the Agitation if the CADRE RESTRUCTURING is not implemented immediately and to whole heartedly support any further call from the Apex bodies to make the ongoing AGITATION a Grand Success.
